Day 1

Entebbe, Uganda

Your flight arrives in Entebbe, Uganda. Meet your driver in Arrivals to transfer to your hotel for the night.

One of the oldest and most regal hotels in Uganda, the Lake Victoria Hotel, where guest have a view of natural landscapes and the magnificent Lake Victoria from the premises, is close to other attractions like the Entebbe Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Days 2 — 4

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda

After breakfast meet your driver to transfer to the Entebbe Airport to meet your charter flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest NP, a Unesco World Heritage Site. When you land, your guide will be waiting to transfer you to your lodge.

Bwindi Lodge is strategically situated overlooking the primeval Bwindi Forest, which is home to many gorilla, chimpanzee, monkey, and birds. This comfortable and eco-friendly lodge is the perfect place to experience the magic of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

One Gorilla Trekking permit is included into the cost of the trip. Guests can spend the day in the jungle observing these mangnificent creatures. Booking early is essential as there are a limited number of permits available.

Days 5 & 6

Ngamba Island, Uganda

This morning you take another private charter flight back to Entebbe. On arrival, your driver will be waiting to transfer you to Ngamba Island via road/boat transfer.

Ngamba Island is 100 acres of rainforest situated 23 km from Entebbe, near the equator in Lake Victoria, Uganda. It supports a rich diversity of natural wildlife and provides a variety of natural foods for the chimpanzees. The island is set up as an eco-friendly project with compost toilets, rainwater collection, proper waste management practices and solar energy (for electricity and hot water).

Don't miss the optional chimpanzee forest walk. Guests have a chance to catch a rare glimpse of some our closest genetic relatives.

Day 7

Entebbe, Uganda

You will have time for a relaxing morning and a hearty meal before transferring back to Entebbe. Your driver will transfer you to your hotel for overnight accommodations.

Days 8 & 9

Chyulu Hills, Kenya

Meet your driver and transfer to the Entebbe Airport for you scheduled flight to Nairobi, Kenya. When you land, meet your driver in Arrivals and transfer to Nairobi Wilson Regional Airport for your onward charter flight. Your guide will be waiting for you as you land and will transfer you to Ol Donyo Wuas.

All of the Big Five can be found on the Ranch. Rhino are also here, but reside in dense cover. The Lodge consists of 7 rooms built of local materials with spectacular views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Days 10 — 12

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya

You have another charter flight this morning to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your guide will be waiting for you on arrival and will transfer you to camp.

Originally built as the Roberts' family home while carrying out conservation work in the Masai Mara, Richard's Camp is a small and exclusive tented camp. Closed in April, May & November.

Days 13 — 15

Funzi Island, Kenya

It's beach time! You have a scheduled flight from the Mara to Ukunda. On arrival, meet your driver and transfer to Funzi Keys.

The Funzi Keys´ unique appeal is its luxurious seclusion and beautiful natural scenery. Surrounded by water and superbly located on a west-facing beach with glorious views of the African sunset, this remote and exclusive hideaway is the perfect place to escape from the outside world in style.

Funzi Keys — Includes: All meals, soft drinks, beer & house wine, laundry & activities (water skiing, Dhow sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, sundowners, pedicure, manicure & massage).

Day 16

Depart

After checkout procedures and a final stroll on the beach, meet your driver to transfer down the coast to Mombasa where you will catch your scheduled flight back to Nairobi. Collect your bags and meet your driver. He will transfer you to the restaurant of your choice for dinner (settled direct) then on to the airport to meet your departure flight.
