Day 1

South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Your flight arrives in Lusaka, Zambia. On arrival, a representative from the charter company will meet you and transfer you onto a light aircraft to Mfuwe. At Mfuwe International Airport, meet your driver in Arrivals and transfer to Mfuwe Lodge.

Hidden away in South Luangwa National Park among the huge ebony and fig trees on the banks of one of these beautiful lagoons sits Mfuwe Lodge.

Days 2 & 3

South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

After breakfast, meet your guide. You have a scenic drive through the park and on to Chamilandu Bushcamp.

Set deep in the park on one of Luangwa's prime river locations, Chamilandu Bushcamp's 2-meter high tree houses are a lovely and elegant base for colorful walking safaris and exciting day and night game drives.

Days 4 & 5

South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

Today you have an early wake up call for breakfast. After your meal, you pack up and begin your walking journey south with your guide through the park. You arrive at your next camp, Chindeni, in time for lunch.

Nestled on the apex of a permanent oxbow lagoon, offset by the magnificent Nchendeni Hills, the scenic Chindeni Camp is a great base for walking safaris and game drives in the surrounding vicinity.

Days 6 & 7

South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

You walk south with your guide once more today. You move towards the confluences of the Kapamba and Luangwa Rivers where your reach Bilimungwe Bushcamp.

Nestled in riverine forest along the picturesque banks of the Luangwa River is a cool and comfortable camp set beneath magnificent mahogany trees on the edge of a small plain.

Bilimungwe Bush Camp — Includes: All meals, drinks, laundry & safari activities

Day 8

South Luangwa National Park, Zambia

You have time for breakfast and a short bush walk before packing up and driving with your guide back to north through the park to Mfuwe Lodge.

Day 9

Depart

It's time to shake out the dust, pack up the camera gear, and make ready for the journey home. After breakfast and checkout procedures, you'll meet your driver in the reception area. You will transfer to Mfuwe Regional Airport to meet your light aircraft transfer back to Lusaka. On arrival, you connect onto your departure flight.
