Casey Gamba

Casey Gamba was born in Denver, Colorado in 1972 where she was raised and still resides. Casey is a born traveler. After a childhood spent exploring exotic places throughout the world with her family, Casey went to the University of Oregon. Here she met Teresa Isabelle and took degrees in Political Science and Italian.

After college, Casey and Teresa worked feverishly to save up money for their dream trip - a year long around the world adventure. This trip took 15 months and touched over 37 countries. When they reached Africa, they fell in love with the continent. They spent seven months exploring there and eventually the seed ideas for Mango African Safaris were planted in their minds.

When they finally returned home, Casey and Teresa started Mango African Safaris. Over the last ten years, Mango Safaris has grown immensely to the point where Casey has found the perfect balance incorporating her passion for travel with a fun and successful business.

In her spare time, Casey feeds her other passions for skiing and music with regular trips to the fabulous mountain destinations in the Rockies and the live music hotspots in Denver. She is also the Programs Director on the board of the Rocky Mountain chapter of APTA (the Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Africa).
