This Old Farmhouse is tucked away in the beautiful Kamberg valley in the Drakensberg Mountains near Giants Castle. The menu changes every evening according to the seasons and availability of local produce and the 5-course dinner means that no expense is spared in giving guests a memorable dining experience. Bushman rock art, trout fishing and birding are some of the major attractions of this area.
Every one of Chef Richard's sumptuous meals - more personalized than any - is an extraordinary chef-d'oeuvre that redefines the concept of flavor. Blazing log fires on chilly evenings and choice wines from the cellar make perfect accompaniments.
Each room has been decorated with pure originality and has its own verandah with wonderful views of the mountains and a glistening, trout-stocked dam. For most guests however, Cleopatra's enthusiastic celebration of food, flavor and freshness is rated its first attraction.
