Thatched beach pavilions and bungalows line the white sand beach at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and include private plunge pools and private outdoor walled gardens featuring exotic Maldivian open-air showers. Water Bungalows are built on stilts over the lagoon. They include a 39-square meter sundeck, visible only from the water. Steps lead down to the lagoon - a natural swimming pool - and a sea-level outdoor shower. The Royal Beach Villa offers lavish, one-of-a-kind accommodations for guests. All rooms enjoy 100% cotton oversized bath towels, available CD/DVD players, down pillows, hair dryer, in-room safe, iron and ironing board available, lighted makeup/shaving mirror, non-allergenic pillows available, refrigerated private bar, satellite TV, tea/coffee maker, twice-daily housekeeping service, multi-line telephone, fax/computer hook-up, and voice mail.

Dining options include the elegant Baraabaru with its open kitchen and tandoori bar. The Reef Club serves authentic Italian fare featuring fresh seafood, pizzas and grilled meats. Guests can dine al fresco on the oceanside deck or in the thatched roof pavilion; a free-standing bar is ideal for sundowners. Café Huraa offers indoor and outdoor dining in an exotic tropical setting. The lunch menu offers a generous mix of popular dishes from East and West, featuring crisp salads, tasty sandwiches and a variety of innovative and creative meat and seafood choices. Dinner at Café Huraa is a fun experience. Every evening, guests can enjoy family style Asian fare featuring a taste of traditional curries, wok-prepared noodles and fresh vegetables, as well as a selection of mouth watering seafood.

Guests can enjoy pre-dinner cocktails at the Sunset Lounge. Live music complements the relaxed mood, while a tantalizing selection of tropical cocktails is offered until the early hours. The Poolside Bar, built into the main swimming pool, is a popular place to celebrate an invigorating dive or simply relax in the warmth of the midday sun. Tropical drinks and a light snack menu are available throughout the day.

Recreational activities at the Four Seasons are diverse. The main pool, one of the largest in the Maldives, is surrounded by a large sun deck and with an infinity edge overlooking the blue horizon. A swim-up bar provides refreshments. Other activities offered are scuba diving, surfing with the 'Tropicsurf' instructors, fishing, and snorkeling.

Most island resorts have their own spa. The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has its own island. Sail in a wooden dhoni (a local Maldivian boat) across the lagoon to luxuriate in thatched spa pavilions which are open to the ocean breezes, tropical gardens and vistas of endless blue sky and sea. Design influences from India and Morocco prevail, adding an authentic Arabian flavor. Seven treatment pavilions are positioned over water, each with a viewing port in the floor deck where guests enjoying a massage can view the aquatic playground below.
