Kanuhura Resort is an all-villa private hideaway given life by the gentle, warm and attentive hospitality of the Maldives. The resort has emerged from an extensive refurbishment, with water villas completely renovated and beach villas enhanced using natural materials that blend seamlessly with the stunning natural landscape. Kanuhura offers 100 villas and grand villas in five different types of accommodation, each surrounded by the breathtaking natural beauty of the Indian Ocean, and each catering to the individual needs and desires of guests: 68 beach villas, 5 beach villa duplexes, 2 grand beach villas, 18 water villas, and 2 grand water villas.

Guests enjoy dining with the finest ingredients imported from all over the world, while fresh fish and seafood come directly from the clear waters of Lhaviyani Atoll. The resort has sourced an interesting selection of international wines to complement the delectable cuisine prepared by internationally trained chefs.

The main restaurant, Thin Rah, offers expansive buffets with open cooking stations where chefs prepare themed cuisines and individual dishes for guests. The Olive Tree serves a la carte dishes from throughout the Mediterranean and features an open pizza oven. Specialties are fresh pastas, salads and a mouth-watering selection of freshly caught grilled seafood and steaks. 'Cuisines of the sun,' inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean are offered for lunch. Candlelit romance on the shores of the Indian Ocean sets the tone for Veli Cafe, with its white linen covered tables and chairs set amid the luxurious shade of frangipani trees on the beachside wooden terrace, and serving dinner only. An extensive choice of carefully selected wines make the perfect accompaniment to fresh seafood from the Maldivian atolls, fused with spices, pickles and sauces to form a delectable Thai cuisine. Guests can also take lunch at Cove's on Jehunuhura Island, the resort's neighboring uninhabited islet where six cabanas offer a retreat from the heat of the sun.
