Sossusvlei, Namibia
Little Kulala
This is our favorite of the Kulala trio. Maybe it's that little bit more luxury. Being close to the Sossusvlei Dunes is a plus also!

Little Kulala, the flagship of Namibia's extraordinary Sossusvlei area, has been enthralling informed travelers, who are attracted by the first-rate facilities, charming hospitality and proximity to the towering sand dunes.
This acclaimed Wilderness Safaris desert retreat, in the only reserve with direct access to Sossusvlei, has climate-controlled villas and an elegant entertainment area that includes al fresco fine dining as a highlight. The 11 elegant canvas-and-thatch villas merge impeccably into the timeless desert landscape, with exquisite fittings and fixtures, innovative bleached decks each with a private plunge pool. The rooms are built on a platform to ensure maximum airflow. Each room has both indoor and outdoor showers, a private verandah with a view, and a private roof top skybed area above the bathroom giving guests the opportunity to spend the night under the night sky.
Journey through the Namib in harmony with the environment and savor the personal and sumptuous style of Little Kulala, and Wilderness Safaris' renowned hospitality.
A water hole in front of the main building gives the opportunity to see gemsbok, springbok, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, ostrich and jackals. Spotted hyenas can be heard at night. Other activities available include nature drives into the desert in 4 x 4 vehicles, walking trails, visits to Bushmen sites, visits to Sossusvlei and Sesriem, hot air balloon safaris (additional cost), horse riding safari (on request and at an additional cost), and a scenic sundowner tour, one of the best scenic safaris in the Namib.
