KIA lodge is the only hotel adjacent to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, Tanzania. A decent option for a day room to grab a shower and nap before meeting your internatioal connection. KIA Lodge is not a luxurious hotel but it is super convenient compared to taking 45 minute transfers each way into town for alternate hotels.

The only airport hotel, KIA Lodge is ideally situated whatever your onward journey - be it climbing the worlds highest free standing mountain or starting a safari into some of Africas amazing and unique wildlife wildernesses. The staff prides themselves on being your first and last taste of friendly and welcoming Tanzania service. It is an ideal place to book a day-use room for a quick, refreshing stop before long international flights.
KIA Lodge has 40 en-suite air conditioned rooms. Designed to compliment the setting, each cottage is built in traditional style using thatch and Tanzanian arts and crafts, such as Tinga tinga paintings and Makunde carvings, giving it a distinctly African feeling.
From the lodge you have a beautiful view on the majestic and spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro which shows her snowy top mostly early in the morning and at sundown. You can also choose to relax at the swimming pool on top of small hill with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, the Blue Mountains, and the Masaai plains.
