Outpost Lodge is "Bed and Breakfast at its Best." With restaurant facilities the Outpost offers clean and comfortable board and lodging in Arusha, the Mecca of Tanzania's thriving safari industry. A large portion of visitors set off on their adventure of a life time from here. Unpretentious, cozy and welcoming, the lodge prides itself in treating guests, be it bush residents or visitors from abroad, like an extended family.
The perfect stage post, Outpost Lodge is a hive of activity, with visitors coming and going - full of adrenalin and stories of adventure. Here, the emphasis is on a 'home away from home' environment where every face has a name.
Set in spacious grounds and shaded by banana and palm trees, there are a total of 23 clean and comfortable, but simple bedrooms - all have mosquito nets, TV's (offering plus 50 channels) and en-suite bathrooms. The popular garden chalets are a mixture of singles, doubles/twins and triples. The main house has dormitory facilities - ideal for student groups and families.
The Outpost does not try to be something that it is not - the accommodation is rustic with an emphasis on clean and comfortable lodging but with a special ambience of its own. The showers are hot; the cuisine is good home cooking and the company great!
