Run by an enthusiastic young couple who have come in from the "bush", they aim to please. Rooms are clean and simple, but the breakfasts are nicely prepared. A great refuge after a long flight!

Karibu is a boutique guest house set on the leafy hillside of Entebbe - Uganda, only 10 minutes drive from Entebbe International Airport. The word "Karibu" means "Welcome" in the Swahili language, and this is how you will find yourself when you arrive. Westward facing with stunning views over Lake Victoria, Karibu is a great spot to enjoy a cold drink while watching the sunset over the lake.
Each of Karibu’s seven en-suite rooms has the same quality amenities yet is unique in design. “Super king” beds with firm, quality mattresses provide a comfortable rest, while custom-designed mosquito nets hang in a non-intrusive style around the bed area. A desk, chair and fast WiFi connection are great for keeping in touch with home. The lake view rooms in the main house enjoy superb sunsets over Lake Victoria, while the newly built ‘safari’ rooms in the garden open the door to exotic plants and bird life.
Karibu is owned, operated and hosted by Leslie (from Corsica) and Kevin (from New Zealand) along with 11 Ugandan staff from Entebbe and around the country. They also have three healthy, friendly dogs that are their security, their friends and are very much a part of life at the guesthouse.
