The newly built Protea Hotel in the Entebbe/Kampala metro area is ideally located on the glistening shores of Lake Victoria and a convenient 1km from Entebbe International Airport. The 73 rooms are all spacious and well-appointed with an en suite bathroom and all modern amenities, including wi-fi, satellite television, safes and air conditioning to ensure guests have a comfortable and convenient stay. Guests will rest easy with comfortable beds, crisp linens and plnety of fluffy pillows.
The Tides Restaurant and Terrace and Bar, serves a full breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Terrace, with its own special ambiance and superb lake views, is the perfect place to kick off a decadent evening out or simply just to relax and enjoy the sunset with an aperitif before dinner.
Added attractions include the Entebbe Golf Club, the Botanical Gardens and the Uganda Wildlife Education Center - all of which offer a wonderful taste of the spectacular natural beauty of Uganda. As part of the Uganda Wildlife Education Center day trips, trips to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Ssese Island can be arranged. Fishing trips for Nile Perch - the largest fresh water game fish in the world or sunset cruises, are ideal for the less adventurous.
