Rhino Post Safari Lodge curves along on the banks of the Mutlumuvi Riverbed on the Southern end of Kruger National Park, an area famous for its excellent Big Five viewings. The lodge offers exclusive exploration of the pristine bushveld that supports a diverse array of wildlife such as, lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, packs of rare wild dogs and myriad species of birds. The abundant wildlife makes the region a great place to explore with game drives or the lodge's signature rhino walking safaris.
It is an elegant 16-bed lodge raised on stilts from the riverbank giving the spacious suites views of passing wildlife from private wooden viewing decks. They have an open plan style with wooden floors, thatched roofs, canvas walls, en suite bathrooms with a private outdoor shower and a ceiling fan. Both the swimming pool & lounge overlook an active waterhole in the riverbed. The lounge, with its impressive wine cellar, fireplace and bar provide the perfect setting for afternoon or evening sun-downer drinks.
Game drives at Rhino Post are conducted with professional guides that meet the strict requirements of the South African National Parks. Upon returning to the lodge guests enjoy a leisurely brunch and time to relax around the pool overlooking the waterhole. In the late afternoon after high tea, guests can enjoy an evening game drive, watching an African sunset and spotting fascinating nocturnal animals in the park.
