This is a lovely private villa on the Borana Conservancy. Excellent for large groups and especially if they will take advantage of the world class riding. The terrain is mountainous so the game viewing can be more challenging than some other areas but this is a gorgeous retreat in the African wilderness.

Laragai House is a private villa located on the Borana Ranch on the edge of an escarpment which falls down 3000 feet into the Northern Frontier District. It has four double bedrooms and two twin rooms which are all en-suite, as well as two children's rooms that share a bathroom. It has a large sitting room, dining room, childrens/TV room and swimming pool with large BBQ area that is perfect for dining outdoors. All food at Laragai House is freshly prepared in the kitchen; vegetables and produce from the local farms, freshly squeezed juice from orchards and wines from around the world. The private staff is are attentive but discreet.

As part of greater Laikipia, Borana Ranch, and the group ranches and reserves in the area, Laragai House shares an area of about a quarter of a million acres. There are over 3,000 elephants in the whole Laikipia area. Other big games species that are commonly seen include lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino as well as species unique to this area like gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and Grevys Zebra to name a few.

Activities include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, sun-downers, educational talks on the history and day to day operation of the conservancy, visits to a pre-historic archaeological site, horseback safaris, or visits to a local school project.
