Losokwan Camp is an authentic Kenyan safari camp offering the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding Masai Mara wilderness without compromising on comfort or responsive service.
The camp is small and intimate and is located in Lemek Conservancy just north of the Masai Mara game reserve, one of the best wildlife viewing areas of the Masai Mara ecosystem.
Our Conservancy offers hard-hitting game-viewing throughout the year and comprises open savannah and a tree-lined section of the mara river with high concentrations of plains game and the wildlife numbers are particularly intensified during the annual wildebeest migration.The camp remains small and intimate with only 6 tents which are now beautifully upgraded; 1 family tent and 5 luxurious ensuite canvas tents.
The spacious ensuite luxury tents are now set on a beautiful wooden platform with a spacious veranda that is replete with a Morocco day bed to allow our guests to soak in the wonderful surroundings. The family tent has two rooms joined by a cosy family lounge facing the open plains, which are consistently occupied by game. All tents have ensuite showers with running water, 24 hour solar lighting and charging facilities.
Losokwan has enhance the accommodation facilities but we went further and upgraded our fleet of game drive vehicles. We now have various designs for our fleet; some are completely open with a high canvas roof, while others have a roof top that can be rolled back for guests to stand as they view the wildlife - this one has been excellent and working well for the photographers.
