Mara House, a private safari escape, sits in the Ol Chorro Losoit valley within the Lemek hills, far from the tourist trail and within the 70,000 acre Mara North Conservancy area. Fed by two large rivers, the Talek and the Mara this region is not just the stage for the most concentrated wildebeest migration action but also home to some of the greatest volumes of plains game and predators in the continent.
The main living areas are at the front, which lead onto the veranda so all can enjoy the wonderful views down to the game rich waterhole. It is here and at the nearby pool that much of the day is passed when not out and exploring. The three double rooms are all en-suite and spacious living areas mean the group staying here have plenty of indoor as well as outdoor space. The private house comes with a well-trained staff including a chef, wildlife guide and house manager. The cuisine is designed to give home comforts mixed subtly with the very fine elements that Kenya and the Mara can offer.
A fully qualified guide and vehicle will be on hand to assist with a wide range of safari activities which include walking, day or night game drives and visits to local villages and trading centers.
