While much larger than the boutique hotels we normally recommend in Nairobi for their great service and style, the Nairobi Serena is a nice alternative for those looking for a larger hotel option.

Dining options for guests are many. Cafe Maghreb is a relaxed and informal Moroccan-styled all-day cafe. The Pool Bar is great for more relaxed, sun and sky ambiance while dining al fresco next to the cool of an oasis, in the heart of the city. The Bambara Lounge, named after the Bambara tribe of Mali, offers 24 hour service to resident hotel guests only. Mandhari Restaurant is famous for the delicacy of its natural cuisine. Other hotel facilities include heated pool and hair salon.
There are many interesting sites to see in the city of Nairobi including the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Center and the Karen Blixen Museum.
