This is a fun retreat in the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. It makes a great place to relax and refresh at the end of a long adventure. You do not travel to the Sossusvlei Dunes from here as you are further South so we commonly suggest this as a two stop Namib Desert combo.

A dramatic landscape of rocky mountains, vibrant orange and red dunes, sweeping grassland valleys, rocky outcroppings of wind-smoothed boulders and a sprinkling of trees create the most spectacular setting for the Wolwedan Dune Camp. Positioned on the edge of a 250-metre high dune, the camp sleeps a maximum of 16 guests in a totally pristine setting. Guests stay in stylish, comfortable tents, which are set on wooden platforms. A spacious deck, allowing for safe sleep-outs under the stars and a private bathroom make for a luxurious camping experience. The lapa is comprised of a lounge, dining area and an open-plan kitchen, which allows guests to chat to the chef while he prepares a sumptuous dinner. The sundowner deck with its fireplace is the central meeting point of the camp, making for a cozy and relaxed ambience. Its rustic but unique atmosphere courts the younthful and adventurous traveler.
Wolwedans provides the perfect base from which to explore vast stretches of breath-taking undisturbed nature. Our personal and informative scenic drives in open Land rovers reveal the wonders of the wilderness.
