Emina Pasha is the best small hotel in Kampala. It offers stylish rooms set away from the well maintained main old colonial building, lush gardens, and pool all of which combine to make this a nice little spot. But being so far from the airport means, visitors would be wise to have more than one night to be able to enjoy this setting.

At The Emin Pasha Hotel we have created a harmonious balance between old and new. Tradition blends seamlessly with contemporary - from the architecture to the furnishings and soft touches, to those modern amenities that today's business and leisure traveler requires.
Each guest room is unique in size, layout, amenities, decor and views. Amenities include a mixture of private garden patios or terrace balconies. All rooms are equipped with a TV and mini-bar, and business needs are met with a large desk, telephone, and data port with free internet access. All rooms are fresh and bright, with French doors and windows for ventilation. All of the beds are draped with mosquito netting. The decor is classic, with gleaming hardwood, crisp white linens, and colorful accents that are right at home in tropical Africa. The Main House, where the reception, library and sitting rooms are located, was originally built in the 1920's as a private residence for a British entrepreneur. It is tastefully and classically furnished with rich hardwood furniture, deep soft armchairs and sofas and features an wonderful collection of Ugandan artwork, some of which were selected for the hotel, others were commissioned.
Facilities include a swimming pool and massage rooms. At Fex Brasserie international cuisine, French classics, Asian fusion, Italian as well as the freshest seafood and fresh cut grilled meats are available. Enjoy the wine bar offering a selection of fine wines, a library and two private lounges.
