Mont Rochelle is a stunning 26-bedroom hotel and vineyard just under an hour’s drive from Cape Town in the town of Franschhoek in South Africa. Franschhoek is a traditional vineyard town in the Western Cape Province famously known as the French Corner of the Cape and is considered to be the food and wine capital of South Africa.
There are two restaurants at Mont Rochelle. The Country Kitchen which joins up to our wine cellar, is an ideal place for a light lunch as well as wine tasting. Or if you're after something a little more formal, MIKO is our flagship restaurant boasting a prime location, with impeccable 180-degree views over the Franschhoek valley and surrounding vineyards and mountains. Start the evening off with a refreshing cocktail from our bar and find a comfy space on the terrace to watch the sunset.
From personalized wine tasting to a picnic amongst the vineyards, wine enthusiasts will be in heaven at Mont Rochelle! If you're looking to get a bit more active, we recommend a dip in the outdoor heated swimming pool. You could also work up an appetite in the gym or just sit back, relax and indulge yourself in our in-house spa.
