Auberge Provence is an intimate retreat set on the edge of the cliffs of Hermanus overlooking the whale watchers' paradise of Walker Bay constructed in the style of a traditional French Provencal farmhouse.
It is inspired by a beautiful guest house outside St. Remy on the hills of an ancient village and is an authentic piece of France complete with rustic stone and wrought iron balconied facade, stone floors and arched walkway. Two majestic wooden doors open to invite guests in to an incomparable vista over the cliffs and the bay.
Auberge Provence is built around a romantic central courtyard with cool charcoal and travertine pool. Guests enjoy breakfasts under grapevine terrace. The cool interiors and rich colors offer a haven of great charm and style. Classic decoration, works of art and large stone fireplaces impart a sense of timeless elegance.
All five suites are individually themed and furnished in soft, relaxing colors and natural woods that are well suited to a luxurious ocean fronted environment. The en-suite bathrooms are the ultimate in indulgence with French fragrance bath products. For a romantic getaway guests can choose a suite with your own plunge pool or Jacuzzi.
