Masek Under Canvas is a great wilderness camp nestled between the prime wildlife areas of northern. The area is witness of the Great Migration in the Serengeti Side.This luxurious tented camp enables guests to be within reach of the Great Migration and to explore remote, beautiful corners of the Serengeti with excellent resident game. This seasonal camp is intimate and exclusive, offering the most spacious safari tents, each with double bed, en suite bathroom, separate portable water closet and a safari shower.

A large, airy, central dining tent offers a comfortable lounge area with a small reference library and maps, some games and a recharging facility for cameras and videos. Their safari chef will prepare sumptuous meals for your enjoyment and special dietary requests are taken care of. The camp has a typical safari campfire in the evenings for our guests to enjoy sundowners and snacks, and relive the day's experiences. The staff will look after your every need, and will be on attendance virtually around the clock. Exploring the deserts of Morocco with a private tented camp has to be one of the most rewarding wilderness experiences available. Experience the raw untouched wilderness of the deserts and immerse yourself into this extraordinary environment. The desert holds an endlessly romantic appeal, with white tents at the foot of gently climbing dunes that roll up from the flat plain, up and up over square black rocks wedged into the sand. Your private tent is beautifully appointed, designed with the romance of a bygone era of exploration. They have a hot shower, private bathroom, comfortable beds, and a fantastic staff to attend to your needs.

Walk up the highest dune, its perfect ridge like whipped cream, folding down to a terrace from where you watch the sun go down - the temperature dropping perceptibly as it does so. As the sun dips below the horizon you drop off the crest of the dune and down the seemingly vertical face towards camp. A traditional Berber dinner is served.

There simply isn't a better way to access and experience the remote wilderness areas of Morocco's extensive deserts. While you travel by day with your private guide and vehicle, the camps are carried by a dedicated team who move ahead of you with a 4x4 setting up camp in time for your arrival and moving with you as you explore deeper into the wild. Nights are spent in splendid isolation under a firmament bright with stars.
