Nomadic Camp was created to help bring the magic of the raw natural African savanna beauty to those who yearn for adventure and the most compelling safari experience imaginable. The 8 spacious, Meru-style tents are designed so you can rough it in style. They are en-suite, featuring flush toilets, bucket showers, solar power electricity, safes, and comfortable beds. There is a comfortable lounge tent where you can relax and sip a cool drink at the end of a long warm day and as the sky darkens our resourceful chef conjures up nourishing and tasty meals that are more often than not enjoyed under a canopy of stars and a roaring fire nearby.
Unlike other camps, Nomadic Camp has the freedom to position itself in the right place at the right time and, where possible, away from other groups of tourists. Depending on when you choose to come on safari and what your specialist interests are, we will take you straight to the heart of the action. This could be in the Mara North Conservancy, an area famous for its leopard sightings—particularly at Leopard Gorge and the Loita Migration calving in March. The camp could be within the Reserve itself—ideal for being close to the Mara River and the dramatic river crossings of 10,000 wildebeest and more or the Mara Naboisho Conservancy, for those wanting the freedom to walk in the bush. The Maasai Mara offers breathtaking scenery and an unparalleled abundance of wildlife. Every year it hosts, what is undoubtedly the greatest show on earth, the Great Migration which takes place between July and October.
