This is a lovely property situated right next to the Africat Foundation. A great place to experience the interworkings of this dedicated wildlife conservation program. While not in the wild, this is a good palce to get close and personal to cheetah among other great African cats.

Your stay right on the grounds of one of the worlds renowned wild cat researching and rehabilitation foundations will be memorable. Okonjima Luxury Bush Lodge is home to the AfriCat Foundation, featured in award-winning documentary films on the Discovery Channel. You will have the opportunity to participate in a full day of radio tracking the first rehabilitated cheetah on the Cheetah Tracking Trail and enjoy game drives to view big cats in their natural setting. Each night the wild leopards are fed, giving guests a chance to watch these magnificent predators from the safety of a nearby hide.
The elegant Luxury Bush Camp is situated within the 2 000-ha enclosed wilderness area of Okonjima Nature Reserve, 2.5 km from the Okonjima Plains Camp. The camp consists of eight thatched, African-style chalets, a junior suite and three en-suite safari tents. The camp features a large central area with a reception, curio shop, cosy lounge, inside and outside fireplaces, restaurant and dining area. It looks out onto the waterhole. There is also a refreshing secluded swimming pool. Each of the luxury chalet's has large glass panels and canvas windows that can be completely opened for unrestricted views of the savannah that offers a truly magical African bush experience.
