Buffalo Camp is located in the Loliondo Concession adjacent to the Serengeti National Park. This property is a nice compliment to the vehicle based wildlife exploration inside the Serengeti. Instead you can walk, do night game drives and visit the local Masai.
Buffalo is a little quirky with no real design theme so less refined than other properties in the region. This is an interesting consideration for the more moderate traveler who has a nice amount of time for their safari.

Buffalo Luxury Camp is a permanent tented camp consisting of 15 canvas tents uniquely designed to embrace the beauty of the Serengeti and crate an intimacy with the surrounding environment and wildlife. The captivating Loliondo location allows for a unique safari living and wildlife experience. The permanent tents have en suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water and comfortable lofted beds which offer exceptional views. All tents have a private terrace equipped with a spotting scope to further enhance the wildlife experience. The finest cuisine is served in the main lodge, with an option of private dining or dinner service in your personal tent.
Being located just outside of Serengeti National Park allows for activities that are not permitted inside of Tanzania's park system. Clients can enjoy unrestricted off-road driving, night drives, guided game walking and interaction with Maasai tribes that are not impacted by mass tourism. The area is world famous for the remarkably diverse array of wildlife that lives in the Serengeti. Most notably is he iconic migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras that happens annually. The large herds attract myriad predators, such as lions, leopards and crocodiles as they attempt to cross the rivers in thundering masses. Many other creatures can be seen in the Serengeti like giraffes, cheetahs and elephants.
