The Hilltop House was built in 1958 and has an old world charm, and as its name suggests, it sits atop a hill offering commanding views over Windhoek, only 5 minutes drive away. It is situated in a cul-de-sac in a quiet area of town, and this guest house has all the facilities you would expect from a larger hotel, yet manages to maintain a personal, welcoming touch.
A delicious breakfast tray is delivered to your room, or alternatively you can sit outside on the Oregon pine deck or by the sparkling pool. Many restaurants are located close to the house providing a choice of cuisine. The seven luxurious rooms at Hilltop House are beautifully decorated in a colonial style. They all have large en-suite bathrooms with environmentally friendly toiletries. The rooms have air conditioning, offering relief from the Namibian heat, a mini-bar, and 3 channel TV. A pine deck extends around the upper floor, giving many of the rooms an outside balcony. The larger honeymoon suite would more suitable for families.
