This is a lovely option for families or friends traveling together who are looking for more of a private villa environment as opposed to a property with more resort facilities. A great place to relax and unwind after an adventurous safari. Kandili Villa has NO beach during high tide but they have a great pool to make up for it. At low tide, you can get your toes in the sand for a bit.

Kandili Villa combines contemporary design with traditional Zanzibari touches, to create a strikingly chic, yet comfortable four bedroom villa.
The main house comprises of a wonderful, modern, fully equipped and open plan kitchen, leading down to a spacious and charming living area, perfect for relaxing in with a cup of refreshing lemongrass tea, while you enjoy the stunning view. From there you can enter out onto the shaded decking area where you will find stylish loungers for you to enjoy the kaskazi (monsoon) breeze. Leading up from the kitchen, a beautiful floating staircase takes you up to the Swahili inspired bedrooms, complete with modern bathrooms and their own private decking areas.
Services include a chef, daily cleaning services, laundry, internet and customized excursions. The location of the villa allows for swift access to the coral reef, and its nearby beach is perfect for walks at sunrise. The numerous rock pools will also keep younger visitors entertained. In Matemwe and on Mnemba island there are 5* PADI diving schools that offer a range of courses, superb dive trips, snorkeling excursions and kite surfing.
