This hotel is quite good, the beach fantastic and the pool refreshing. Located in the Nungwi area in the extreme north of Zanzibar, there are lots of resorts, restaurants and bars around so this hotel is a good option for travelers who want to be in the mix of things and have lots of atmosphere.

This chic, 35 room boutique hotel located on the northern tip of the Island near Nungwi, blends elegant, contemporary design with traditional Zanzibari features to create a unique cool and relaxing environment.
Our guest rooms have all been beautifully decorated and feature Travertine Marble floors imported from Turkey, Italian designer bathroom suites, crisp cotton bed linen from Egypt, sumptuous fabrics from India and bespoke furniture exclusive to the Z Hotel made from locally sourced coconut wood.
Each room has a mini-bar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, tea/coffee making facilities, writing desk, iPod docking station, and floor to ceiling glass doors leading onto a balcony which looks out across the crystal blue Ocean with many rooms featuring Plasma TVs, DVD Players, Wi-Fi and Philippe Starck furniture.
