The Northern part of the Serengeti (Kogatende) along the Mara River is definitely one of the most famous places for the safari in the world. The richness of the fauna is incomparable. The Mara River is particularly famous for its spectacular and sometimes dramatic scenes that take place between June and October, when millions of wildebeests go across the river trying to survive the stream of the River and the attacks of crocodiles.
Because the Mara River has water all year round, there is always interest in this Northern region. In the great plains, the chances of watching the cheetah hunt gazelles are great. The River is also a place frequented by elephants and a lot of hippos. Some rhinoceros can also be observed.
Each tent has superb views from the verandah on the River and the Serengeti's plains. Tents are similarly decorated but retain originality, with a terrace, large safari canvas tent, bedroom and dressing room alcove with ensuited bathroom.
The whole camp runs on solar energy . Electricity is also provided by a new generation solar equipment. Hot water is provided by solar heaters. The camp collects the rain water and 80% of the yearly needs is provided by this source.
