Day 1: You fly over the Kuiseb canyon and adjoining red dunes, the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck, the Skeleton Coast, past the seal colony at Cape Cross, and Ugab 'moon landscape' formations. You spend the night at Kuidas camp in the Huab River Valley; ancient rock engravings are found amongst the rocks within walking distance of the camp.
Day 2: In the morning you explore the colorful red lava and yellow sandstone of the Huab River environs. Hopping on the plane you fly along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. At the coast you drive the dunes and visit the beach with its interesting sand and old bleached whale bones scattered along the beach. You spend the night at Leylandsdrift camp in the Hoarusib Valley.
Day 3: You start your day with a visit to a Himba village. In the afternoon you fly north over the Kaiu Maru shipwreck, through the mountains and dunes of the Hartmann Valley, and the Kunene River. You spend the night at a camp along the river.
Day 4: An early morning boat trip on the Kunene River starts your day where you see bird life and crocodiles. Birds vary from aquatic species on the perennial waters, to endemic desert varieties and those that inhabit dense riverine vegetation. Your last flight takes you back to Windhoek.
