The Lokanga Boutique Hotel sits atop a hill nearby to the old Queen's Palace in Antananarivo. It has been freshly resigned and renovated for improved comfort and service. It was modeled in the traditional Malagasy townhouse style. Its name 'Lokanga' even comes from the Malagasy name for a violin because the hotel sits on the grounds where the queen's musicians once stayed.

It is ideally located for beautiful views over the city and the spectacular sunsets that grace the area every night. This setting can be enjoyed from one of the six comfortable bedrooms. Each guestroom features en-suite bathroom facilities, a mini bar, television set, wireless internet, and heating. The luxurious rooms all have unique decor themes that are accented with elegant antiques. Most rooms have balconies with great views. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast on the common area's covered balcony. There is also a restaurant where guests may enjoy traditional Malagasy dishes and freshly baked homemade cakes.

The location is only a 15 minute drive from the Anatanarina and Ampefiloha business districts. There is free parking provided, although many popular sites are within walking distance.
